PT | Marco Lacomblez Leitão é advogado desde 2003, tem a dupla nacionalidade belga e portuguesa, 47 anos de idade, nasceu em Bruxelas e tem residência em Portugal desde 1988.
“Tornei-me membro da Câmara de Comércio Luso-Belga Luxemburguesa, há cerca de 15 anos, e efetivamente tem sido uma experiência muito enriquecedora, com a qual tenho aprendido muito, quer a nível profissional, quer a nível pessoal. Os diversos eventos, realizados pela presente Câmara de Comércio e os organizados em parceria com outras Câmaras de Comércio ou outras entidades, proporcionam oportunidades muito interessantes de troca de experiências e interações com diversos agentes económicos, permitindo, por vezes, estabelecer parcerias com os mesmos.
Com efeito, acolhi de imediato e entusiasticamente a excelente ideia da Presidente da Câmara de Comércio Luso-Belga Luxemburguesa Chantal Sohier de criar uma rede de agentes de ligação nas regiões e distritos de Portugal. Na verdade, penso que isso permitirá uma maior proximidade da Câmara de Comércio com os seus membros e criará melhores condições para a adesão de novos membros. Por outro lado, esta iniciativa permitirá ainda reforçar e alavancar as possibilidades de estabelecer novas parcerias com associações empresariais e entidades públicas, designadamente Câmaras Municipais, de modo a dinamizar ainda mais a atividade da Câmara de Comércio no distrito do Porto.
É iniludivelmente uma grande honra ter sido convidado para estas funções.
O Porto, como é sabido, é um distrito muito dinâmico quer a nível industrial, quer a nível de serviços. Nos últimos anos (salvo 2020 e 2021, por causa da pandemia), por um lado, ocorreu um aumento significativos de turistas e isso tem contribuído para um crescimento da economia e de oportunidades económicas e, por outro, sucedeu um aumento considerável do investimento estrangeiro, sendo que os sectores da economia, para além do turismo, que têm crescido mais, são designadamente a indústria relacionada com o material de transporte, o digital, o agroalimentar e os serviços às empresas.
Estou certo de que juntos vamos ultrapassar os obstáculos originados pela presente pandemia e que conseguiremos fazer um bom trabalho em prol da Câmara de Comércio e dos seus membros, reforçando os laços entre os países representados.”

“I became a member of the Luxembourgish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce about 15 years ago and it has indeed been a very enriching experience, from which I have learned a lot, both professionally and personally. The various events, held by this Chamber of Commerce and those organized in partnership with other Chambers of Commerce or other entities, provide very interesting opportunities to exchange experiences and interact with various economic agents, sometimes allowing us to establish partnerships with them.
In fact, I immediately and enthusiastically welcomed the excellent idea of the President of the Luxemburg Luso-Belgian Chamber of Commerce Chantal Sohier to create a network of liaison officers in the regions and districts of Portugal. In fact, I think this will allow the Chamber of Commerce to be closer to its members and will create better conditions for new members to join. On the other hand, this initiative will also reinforce and leverage the possibilities of establishing new partnerships with business associations and public entities, namely City Councils, in order to further boost the activity of the Chamber of Commerce in the Oporto district.
It is unquestionably a great honor to have been invited to these functions.
Porto, as is well known, is a very dynamic district both in terms of industry and services. In recent years (except 2020 and 2021, because of the pandemic), on the one hand, there has been a significant increase in tourists and this has contributed to a growth in the economy and economic opportunities and, on the other hand, there has been a considerable increase in foreign investment, and the sectors of the economy that have grown most, in addition to tourism, are the industry related to transport equipment, digital, agrifood, and business services.
I am sure that together we will overcome the obstacles caused by the present pandemic and that we will be able to do a good job on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce and its members, strengthening the ties between the countries represented.”
